Pastor William Jeffery Bass was born in Troy, Alabama. He is married to his wife Pastor Demetria Bass, they have one son Christopher James Bass, and they reside in Woodbridge, Virginia. Pastor Jeff graduated high school with honors and received a B.S. degree in Broadcast Journalism from Troy State University. He is furthering his education by pursuing his Masters degree in Theology.
On August 17, 1987, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord
and Savior. Pastor Jeff has and continues to have a thirst for
the Word of God. Pastor Jeff has served in many areas of
the ministry from usher, greeter, teacher, youth ministry, men’s
ministry and many other ministries.
Pastor Jeff is the charismatic Senior Pastor and founder of Praise
Covenant Christian Center Church and Praise Covenant Ministerial
Alliance in Springfield, VA. God has given him a vision to raise
up a generation of warriors who will evoke the presence of God
through victorious praise, to plant churches, and to provide apostolic
covering to ministers and ministries.
His favorite passage in the Bible is Second Chronicles chapter 20 because it illuminates the fact that through prayer, petition, and praise, God will prepare, protect, and provide for his people.
Through Pastor Jeff’s down to earth, sometimes humorous, but always relevant and scripturally applicable life-changing messages, people are encouraged, exhorted, and energized to serve the Lord. The greatest testimony of Pastor Jeff is that he truly loves the Lord and it is all about Jesus.
Demetria Bass is a native of Jacksonville, Florida but for many years she has lived throughout the United States of America and abroad. Her travels have taken her to places such as Keflivik, Iceland and Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory. She served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force National Guard and 20 years in the U.S. Navy. It was during this time that she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and considers herself to be a child of the Most High King. While serving her Country in Diego Garcia it was then that she accepted the call of Jesus Christ to be a deliverer of the Gospel. After accepting this call of the Lord she was then united in marriage to the Adam/Boaz that God had prepared for her. She served as the Executive Pastor of Praise Covenant Christian Center along with her husband who is the Senior Pastor. Her goal is to teach, preach and break down the Word of God in such a way that everyone can enjoy, understand, and apply it to their everyday life. She is happily married to her beloved and supportive husband Jeff, is the mother of one birth son, Chris, and God has truly blessed her to be the spiritual mother of many other sons and daughters.
